Jerry Copp

Jerry Copp is NOT a state licensed counselor, clinician, or therapist; however, he has had extensive experiences working with children and families referred through mental health services, educational institutions, and court systems.

 

Additionally, Jerry has provided counseling services to individuals, families, and couples (pre-marital & marriage) referred through various church communities.

 

As an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, Jerry also earned a Masters Degree in Psychology (Marriage and Family Counseling) through the University of San Fransisco.

 

Jerry believes in the possibility of hope, change, and healing, regardless of what has been or seems to be.  He counts it an honor and privilege to journey with others as they discover a better way.

 

He and Vona have been married for 39 years (and she still likes him!).  They have 3 adult married children and 3 grandchildren.

For fun, Jerry enjoys playing with his grandkids, fishing (whether or not "catching" happens and, Jeeping (aka breaking down in the middle of no-where).

Kevin Suess

Kevin Suess is NOT a state licensed counselor, clinician, or therapist, which are medical professions.  Neither he nor Faith Community Church represents themselves otherwise.  Biblical counseling is a religious function.

Kevin has served in numerous business, ministry, and non-profit areas.  As such, he is well equipped to respond to nearly every area of life's problems.

 

As a natural life-long learner, he enjoys reading, amassing a personal library of nearly 1500 volumes, much to his wife's concern.  As a hobby Kevin collects Bibles, at last count numbering close to 80. He also enjoys photography.

He and Vanessa have been married for more than 35 years and and make their home in Lodi, CA.  They have 2 adult sons.
